Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

As 2009 comes to a close I want to express my gratitude to all of you who visited KAT Nurseries and to thank you for your business and continued support. We have had an unusual year and the relationships we developed over the year are greatly appreciated and I hope will continue to grow. Scout and I would like to invite you out to our beautiful nursery in 2010 to tour and to plan your landscapes using our quality plant material. Until then I would like to wish a very prosperous and happy new year.

More Cool Blue Spruce

Fat Albert Blue Spruce

The Fat Albert Blue Spruce with it's dense branching and prymidal shape grows to 30-45' high and 10-20' wide. It has a strong straight leader and keeps it's deep blue color in full sun. It is a excellent landscape specimen that is also deer resistant!

Cool Blue Spruce for Hot Summer Days

Baby Blue Eyes Spruce

This beautiful grafted blue spruce gets 10-15' high and 8-10' wide and grows very slowly 2-3" a year. It is a great spruce to use at the corner of the house because of its dwarf features. Baby Blue Eyes has handsome penulous cones, very deer resistant and drought tolerant once established.

Bacheri Blue Spruce

Bacheri Blue Spruce can be used in larger landcapes with maturing height of 40' and width of 20'. It is also a grafted spruce maintaining the beautiful silvery blue needles not fading to green as it matures.

Blue Totem Spruce

This grafted spruce grows 15' high and 3' wide in full sun to part shade and stays very narrow. Blue Totem is very blue and with its stiffly ascending branching makes it a gorgeous vertical accent in the landscape.

I am learning on the photography front, but I tried to get a flavor as to what we have at the nursery. Wonderful plants are arriving daily today Inkberry and Azaleas, yesterday Forest Pansy & Redbud, Pink & White Dogwoods, Ginko, Coralburst Crab, Armstrong Maples, Greenleaf Holly & Tulip Trees. The pictures are the stuff that caught my eye as Scout & I wandered with my camera. If you have any questions call or just take a minute of your busy day and we will tour you around the place!
